Delgaty Castle:
Delgaty Castle (pictured below):
Originally the country seat of the Hays Earls of Errol in
early Medieval times. It was a change from the storm swept towers
of Slains Castle. It was rebuilt in its modern form in 1579.
From the Hays it passed into the hands of the Gardens of Troup,
then sold in 1798 to the Duffs Earls of Fife.
