The Aden House owners, Ian and Elaine Grubb, would like
to welcome visitors to our family run guest house. We
cater for individuals, families or groups looking for
reasonable cost accommodation. We offer single, double
and family rooms as bed & breakfast. The hotel is
situated in the very quiet rural community of Old Deer,
and it is a short drive from the larger town of Mintlaw.

Buchan is an area steeped in history.
Aden house is located in the ancient village of Old
Deer, which is close to Old Deer Abbey - the monastery
where the Book of Deer was produced. There are numerous
castles on the "castle trail", and within easy
travelling distance is the "whisky trail", which travels
the many whisky distilleries in the North of Scotland.
Local Amenities at Mintlaw include petrol station,
chemist shop, doctors' surgery, dentist, post office and
convenience stores. The larger towns, Fraserburgh,
Peterhead and Ellon are all within a 15 mile radius and
the city of Aberdeen is a only 30 miles away.
